Plaque with
Sculpted Bas Relief of General Hap Arnold
This cast bronze plaque has a single line bevel edge border. It
contains 5 'military style' prismatic stars.
Since there are no holes shown on the plaque it was provided
with boss and stud mounting. It is mounted on the main gate
at Bolling Air Force Base.
A significant feature of this military plaque is the attention
to detail in respect to the bas relief sculpting. All details
of the military uniform and medals were captured as was
the 'grin of self confidence' evidenced on the face of General
Arnold. This sculpting was truly a work of art.
